Arrival to Warsaw; welcome dinner.

Warsaw bus sightseeing: the Grand Theatre and Opera House, the Jablonowski Palace, the Tomb of Unknown Soldier and the Saski Park, Warsaw City with skyscrapers, Umschlagplatz and the Monument of Heroes of Ghetto, the Town Hall and a glimpse at monumental architecture from communism time; walk around the Lazienki Royal Park with the Palace on the Water and the Island Theatre, open air Chopin's concert (only summer); visit to the Royal Castle, walk around the Old Town (UNESCO Heritage) and the New Town: the Krasinski Palace, the Palace of Justice and the Monument of Warsaw Uprising; dinner.

Monday Kazimierz Dolny

Transfer to Kazimierz Dolny upon Vistula River; walk around a picturesque town beloved by artists and visit to the Three Crosses Hill overlooking the town; optional walk to the Roots Gorge; transfer to Krakow; dinner.

TuesdayKrakow

Krakow sightseeing: visit to the Wawel Royal Castle with cathedral and Krakow Old Town (UNESCO Heritage); further walk around Old Town: St Mary church, the Sukiennice cloth hall, defensive walls and Barbican; break for a souvenir hunt; transfer to Wieliczka; visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine (UNESCO Heritage) the most beautiful and the oldest operating salt mine in the world; dinner 132 metres under the ground; transfer back to Krakow

Visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp museum (UNESCO Heritage); transfer to Wadowice - the Pope John Paul II birthplace; visit to the basilica and Pope's museum; transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, visit to the monastery with dozens of chapels spread around in a beautiful countryside scenery (UNESCO Heritage); transfer back to the hotel in Krakow; dinner; time to discover the charm of the city by night.

Transfer to Zakopane, the highest situated town in Poland, trip by cable car to Kasprowy Wierch to admire beautiful panoramas of high mountains in the Tatra National Park (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) from the altitude of 1957 metres over the sea level*; walk along Krupowki walkway, the main tourist attraction in Zakopane; transfer to the Pieniny National Park; dinner.

Visit to Niedzica Castle overlooking the Czorsztyn Lake; gentle rafting on Dunajec River to Szczawnica through the breakthrough in the Pieniny National Park where very high and steep rocky walls are dominating over the river, breathtaking view; transfer to Wroclaw; dinner.

Walk along the oldest part of Wroclaw - Ostrow Tumski Island: the Old Town and the cathedral, visit to the Panorama Raclawicka Museum, the biggest attraction of the city; transfer to Kornik, visit to 14th century Knight Castle with arboretum (trees botanical garden); dinner.

Transfer to Biskupin, visit to the oldest settlement in Poland; transfer to Torun famous for Nicolaus Copernicus, walk around the Old Town - one of the best example of medieval gothic town (UNESCO Heritage), visit to the cathedral and the Copernicus House; time for a souvenir hunt and to taste gingerbread - a speciality the city is famous for, that is baked according to old recipes and methods dating back to the 16th century; dinner.

Transfer to Tricity (Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot), walk around Gdansk Old Town: the Arthur's Court, the Town Hall, the Old Crane, the cathedral; transfer to Gdynia harbour, visit to the sail ship; transfer to Sopot seaside resort, walk by the promenade, pier; dinner.

Gdansk: visit to the exposition "Ways to Freedom" and Monument to Fallen Shipworkers presenting "Solidarity" movement that abolished the communism in Poland, what influenced the neighbouring countries to do the same; transfer to Westerplatte, the place where the II WW began; transfer to Malbork, visit to the biggest red brick gothic castle in the world (UNESCO Heritage) built for Teutonic Order Knights; transfer to Elblag; dinner.

Totally unique experience - half day boat trip to Maldyty up the Elblag - Ostroda canal, the main attraction of the region and the only one in the world this kind of canal with technical devices from mid of XIX century and still functioning without electricity, the system of slipways carries the ships on the land up and down and helps them overcome almost 100 m difference of water levels "sailing" on the land; transfer to Gierloz, visit to the Wolfschanze - the Headquarter of Hitler on the Eastern front during the II WW; transfer to Swieta Lipka; dinner.

Swieta Lipka: visit to Jesuit monastery; organ concert; transfer to the Luknajno Lake Reserve often called the Swan Lake (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve); stop for masurian souvenir hunt in Mikolajki, the most famous Masurian village with a beautiful marina; transfer to Nowogrod, visit to the open air museum presenting traditional wooden buildings of the region; transfer to Bialowieza; regional dinner.

Bialowieza: visit to the Bialowieza National Park (UNESCO Heritage and UNESCO Biosphere Reserve), the biggest primeval forest complex in Europe, visit to bison reserve, walk trough the forest; transfer to Hajnowka famous for organ and choir festival as well as old wooden orthodox church and a modern one; transfer to Warsaw; dinner.

Warsaw Free time to relax or for shopping. At stated hour departure to the airport.



* in case the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch is closed due to ex. bad weather conditions a trip by the cable and ground railway to Gubalowka Mountain would be proposed
